Yilin Ma

Summer Intern (2026)

Yilin Ma is an MPH student in Chronic Disease Epidemiology at the Yale School of Public Health. She is an intern for Ecopsychepedia, where she has been writing an entry on community health workers and their role in climate resilience, mental health, and health equity. Her interests include chronic disease epidemiology, cancer research, climate-related health disparities, and community-based public health approaches. Through this project, Yilin hopes to better understand how trusted frontline public health workers can help connect communities with health systems and support populations facing climate-related health and mental health challenges.
