Britt Wray, Ph.D. is a researcher and author working at the nexus of climate change and mental health. She is the Director of CIRCLE at Stanford Psychiatry, a research and action initiative focused on Community-minded Interventions for Resilience, Climate Leadership and Emotional wellbeing in the Stanford School of Medicine. She is the Founder of Unthinkable, a non-profit on a mission to connect laypeople to resources and community supports for building psychological resilience to climate disruption. Britt is also the author of two books, and her latest Generation Dread: Finding Purpose in an Age of Climate Anxiety, is an impassioned generational perspective on how to stay sane in the climate crisis, which was a national bestseller, and from this work, she created the award-winning Gen Dread Substack newsletter: gendread.substack.com.
