Ginny Michaux served as an LCSW and MSN Clinical Specialist in the Crisis and Emergency Services of Community Mental Health Centers until her retirement. A longtime student of the Climate Crisis, and especially concerned with the plight of the Earth’s Circumpolar Indigenous Peoples, wildlife and our next generations, Ginny explored the polar regions and gave climate talks across the US and in Mexico to all age groups – from schools to boardrooms. She has recently written a climate novel, A Tree for Antarctica, which uses fiction to engage people in mitigating our looming worldwide catastrophe.
