Zaida Rio Polanco

Zaida Rio Polanco joined the Ecopsychepedia project in 2023 as a second year undergraduate at Yale University. She is currently earning a BA in Environmental Studies with a concentration in Environmental Policy. The performing arts remains one of her strongest passions and she is therefore interested in the intersection of songwriting, theater, dance, and climate therapy, all of which Zaida pursues on campus. She is the author of Ecopsychepedia’s entry on Reproductive Decisions: approaching family planning amidst today’s rising environmental issues, with mentorship from Colleen Rollins, Robin Cooper, and Ginny Michaux.
